The 35th Class of the Haitian National Police (HNP) is Inaugurated This Sunday, October 5, 2025

Authorities attended the welcoming ceremony for recruits of the National Police School, located on Route de Frères, in the presence of the Chargé d'affaires of the United States Embassy in Haiti, Henry Wooster, as well as the Ambassador of Canada to Haiti, André François Giroux. There are 892 recruits who will receive training in various fields with a view to joining the Haitian National Police within a few months.

Accompanied by Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé and the Secretary of State for Public Security, Mario Andrésol, Council-President Leslie Voltaire presided over the launch ceremony for this new class.

In his speech, he praised their determination and commitment, encouraging them to leverage their patriotism and bravery to contribute, in a short time, to the establishment of lasting peace in Haiti.

For his part, while reaffirming his commitment to international cooperation aimed at supporting Haiti, the Head of Government, Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, emphasized his desire to strengthen the operational capabilities of the HNP so that it can fulfill its mission, which is to « Protect and Serve ».

For the Prime Minister, security remains the most crucial battle for stability in the country.
