School Grant: The National Education Fund Delivers a Second Batch of 252 Checks to Parents

The National Education Fund (FNE) proceeded, this Saturday, February 14, 2026, to deliver a second batch of 252 checks to beneficiary parents, as part of the subsidy program for the 2025-2026 school year. The announcement was made via a note published on the social network X. According to the FNE, the continuation of distribution operations is scheduled for the coming days. The checks, made out exclusively to educational institutions, are part of an approach of transparency, traceability, and good administrative governance. The institution promises sound and efficient management of public funds allocated for school grants, in the interest of parents and their children. Reminder of the first disbursement This new distribution follows a first batch of 271 checks delivered on Saturday, January 31, 2026. On that occasion, the FNE had already emphasized that other distributions were planned to progressively meet submitted requests. Out of approximately 7,000 applications received, some did not meet all the established criteria.
The FNE administration had indicated its intention to contact, where possible, the parents concerned to provide them with the necessary clarifications. Furthermore, for parents who have already paid tuition fees for the current academic year, an arrangement with school administrations is being considered to carry over the amounts to the next year. To ensure rigorous and equitable processing of applications, the institution had already announced that an analysis commission had been specially established.
