Excellent guitarist, singer, and composer Dadou Pasquet is seriously ill

An iconic figure in the Haitian music industry, André Pasquet, widely known in the industry as Dadou Pasquet, has not been well for some time.

Seriously ill, the artist has withdrawn from appointments, interviews, meetings, the stage, travel, and all other activities.

This brief interruption is due to very serious health problems, suddenly leading to the artist's withdrawal and observation, as he is aware of his deteriorating health condition.

In a note published to this effect, his family thanked the local public who, for ages, have continued to support him.

Withdrawn from the music scene, he also does not respond to invitations, the note specified.

Under observation, Dadou is going through difficult times. His family, deeply affected, prohibits any form of support, the note reads, through which they wish to specify that «no request for money collection, nor any page that could help gather donations will be created in the artist's name» (Dadou), known as one of the icons of compas direct.

Without providing details on the precise location where Dadou is under observation, the family, however, commits to providing information on his recovery.
