MENFP Mourns One of Its Executives: Me Sifrant Michel

I confirm the tragic death of Me Sifrant Michel through Professor and writer Yves ROBLIN, Director General of the Ministry of National Education. The tragedy occurred around 10 PM on Friday, January 30, 2026, between Delmas 31 and 33, while the victim was likely alone. This death is added to the long list of citizens taken by insecurity that has become chronic and uncontrollable.

An upright, credible, and deeply committed man, Me Sifrant Michel was an attaché and close collaborator of Director General Yves ROBLIN. He worked with discretion, rigor, and loyalty to strengthen the educational administration; convinced that education remains one of the essential pillars of national recovery. His passing constitutes a major loss for the Haitian state and for the educational community.
