CONDOLENCE NOTE – MEFP – Movement of Graduating Students and Professionals

It is with great sadness that MEFP – Movement of Graduating Students and Professionals learns the news of the death of the Haitian music legend, Dieudonné Larose, who left us today. The passing of this artist is an immense loss for his family, for the cultural world, and for all the Haitian people. Dieudonné Larose was more than a musician: he was a living legend, a committed artist, a voice that carried the emotions, history, and reality of the Haitian people through his music. His journey was marked by talent, discipline, and boundless love for our national culture and identity. Through his creations, Dieudonné Larose contributed greatly to the promotion of Haitian music, he inspired several generations of young people, students, and professionals, and he leaves behind a cultural legacy that will never be erased. His work, his message, and his melodies will continue to live in our collective memory. In this painful moment, MEFP extends its deepest sympathies to the entire family of Dieudonné Larose, his friends, his collaborators, and all those affected by this loss. We share our sorrow with you, and we pray that God grants you strength and courage to get through this difficult time. May Dieudonné Larose's artistic legacy continue to shine,
